THEME: A Battle Lost and Won
To me is the noble task of history
I choose me a rare treasure and a jewel
A diamond in the wrought
The boundless freedom amidst the companionship of the fatherless
Abundant harvest in the desolate waste
Refreshing soul who dare stare at the face of the famine
Shelter in the wilderness of solitude
Confidence in the face of fierce history
Unparalleled posterity in the company of the barren
Unlimited favour in the class of the unschooled
Mitigate scholar in the company of the unlearned
Widest view in the valley of decision
The glorification of the despised
The vindication of the unloved
The innocence of battle
The pride of the commoners with a despised beginning
Now, if I may ask?
Is there strength in hunger and thirst?
Comfort in nakedness and illness
Victory in prison or captivity
Companionship in seclusion and rejection
Life in the face of Death and Sin
Hope in war against Satan and Darkness
Eternal Life after the earthly death
Unending joy and hope after the earthly transitory pains and anguish
To curb the mind curiosity and the incessant complaint
My guard and childhood heart reply:
‘The ALL-KNOWING needs neither man’s gifts nor special skills
Whosoever can bear his mind yoke, the same serve him best
But, as 4u a beloved and friend, covet 2b a fool in this world
Returning good deeds 4every foul play on you!
4d Lord has chosen the despised things in this world to inherit eternal glory and power
Yet, the first shall be the last and the last shall be the first
Now, go your way with this message at the back of your mind: ‘I desire Mercy!
